My mom taught me everything I know about baking and being in the kitchen brought us closer together. The imperial black is an awesome color that goes so well with my decor. I didn't want a cutesy 80s looking shiny color that I would get sick of in time. This imperial black makes it look like a power tool --- which, come to think of it, it actually is. Making pizza dough with 4 cups of flour is a breeze now. If it can make dough, any other baking work must be child's play for this machine.

There is nothing about the Kitchenaid Artisan mixer that I do not like. It is well built and seems to be extremely durable. The design lends itself to easy exchange of attachments as well as cleaning. I especially like how the head tips back far enough to clear the bowl with extra room, making it very easy to removed the bowl.
