Gave my old one to my daughter and bought this new one for myself. Love the mixer, but hate the new cheapie wire whip. Old one had a sturdy stainless steel one, this new one has a cheaper, lightweight one that can't be washed in dishwasher, and made my mashed potatoes turn black. Yuck!

I love my new Kitchenaid artisan stand mixer. It makes a great addition to my cooking and baking. Whipping cream, making cakes and sauces. Love the colors too!

My husband bought this for me for Christmas because I've wanted one for a long time but wouldn't spend the money. I use it almost daily! I love it! Make cakes, dough instead of having to kneed it forever this does it for you . Egg whites are a breeze, just turn it on and walk away. Having my hands available to work on the next step or other food items is great. I make a lot of homemade breads now and even make my mashed potatoes in it. I am very happy and beyond satisfied with this gift!

I'm 57 years old. Owned stand up mixers almost all my. Didn't understand the Kitchen aid one because of the cost. Then my husband bought me one for my birthday. Now I know what I've been missing. Laughing. This is the best mixer I have ever used and trust me. I've bought more then a few. Gearing up for my baking for Thanksgiving ( 1st time using it). I was so impressed! The power in this was awesome. I've been telling everyone what a great product and well worth the money spent. Wish it wouldn't have taken so long to 'get it'

I always wanted a kitchen aid mixer and especially in my favorite color orange. I received it for Christmas from my fiance and I love it!! It makes baking and mashing potatoes, so much easier!! I would recommend everyone that loves to cook, to invest there money into a kitchen aid mixer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wanting a stand mixer for a while. It’s great for whipping egg whites and mixing dough. I like the shield. Adding dry ingredients is much cleaner with it.
