I've been dreaming of owning a Kitchen Aid mixer for many years, ever since watching my mom use one my entire childhood, and I finally officially own one and let me say how amazing it makes baking. I'm a big fan of pizzas and other doughy products, and the dough hook feature makes my life way easier. It's sturdy and heavy and, heck, if I treat it well, I assume it'll be around for my kids to bake with and the cycle will continue.

great mixer, funny noise

I have had my mixer for 8 months or so. When I use it now, it makes a funny grinding noise when i mix thicker things like cookie dough, which is my primary use. My mom has had one for 20+ years and it has been fantastic- I hope this one is the same quality!

I've waited a long time to purchase this mixer. Two weeks ago when making a double batch of chocolate chip cookies for our daughter, I had to admit that I couldn't mix the batter myself. My husband graciously mixed it for me, then said I'd waited long enough for the mixer I wanted. We went out within the week and bought it. I love everything about it. We laughed and said that we just bought a mixer for one of our future grandchildren! Thanks for a quality product!

It is so easy to use. It allows you to add ingredients slowly while the mixer mixes. The beaters are adjusted to clean the sides of the bowl and they reach the bottom of the bowl to mix all the ingredients. It makes cooking and baking fun and easy with an easy clean up.
