Makes bread making easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it because I got interested in bread making after watching the British Baking Show. While I do not intend ever to get to that level, I wanted to make my own tasty fresh bread. I found the instructions very easy and clear and also found some surprise recipes too. I have already made 4 loaves with it and my husband made a delicious cake for Christmas dinner.
I chose the bright red machine which really brightens my rather dull beige kitchen.
It is a little heavy as many customers have noted so pick a spot and leave it there. I have it sitting under a cupboard and slide it forward to use it. Dough hook is easy to insert and take out. It is very easy to clean which is a very nice feature.

This was purchased for my husband and I as a wedding gift. Overall, it works. I don't see a difference though between the highest speed and the one speed before that. The sound of the motor is the same sound. Also the device is heavy.

I got this as a birthday present and not only do I use it for baking, I use it for so many different tasks like shredding chicken, making homemade butter, and incorporating my wonton filling! Having options for different attachments is also convenient and you don't need to take up more counter space with another product! I love my kitchenaid!
