When my hand mixer stopped working, I looked for an acceptable replacement. What I liked about it was the food processor attachment, which made it very versatile. After not finding anything that caught my fancy, I decided to go with the Artisan Series Tilt-Head Stand Mixer by KitchenAid and I am a happy customer. I like being able to add ingredients to the bowl and having my hands free to move around the kitchen. Soon, I hope to add some attachments to my collection - including the food processor attachment.

I really like the mixer. The only issues I've had were: the first time I used it, there was something that made my dough grey so I had to throw it away. After that, no more grey. The other issue is, it's louder than I would have imagined. Not unbareable by any means, but you definitely can't listen to the radio while using it. Not a huge issue though. Otherwise, great product!

I love this stand mixer! I am however giving it only 4 stars because the first time I used it, the bowl left a grey film in my whipped cream. I had already washed it by hand too. I ended up needing G to wash it 3 times before I no longer saw that grey film on a paper towel. Other than that, it's a perfect machine! A huge time saver!

My husband bought me the KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer last week for an early Christmas gift. WOW! My cooking experience just became great. The Artisan made mixing so easy and the results of my recipes is excellent with nearly no effort at all. Your hands are free to measure and add ingredients. Anyone who cooks should have one.
