This product is extremely useful, not just for baking but comes in handy for loads of other chores like mixing dough, meats, etc. The attachments are easy to assemble & use. A must have for every kitchen.

I haven't had a new mixer in probably15 or so years, and was alright with that, but things weren't going so good with my baking. I can hardly believe the difference with my new Kitchen Aid. Wonderful!

I had my original Kitchen aid mixer for 27 years and it still works perfectly and I have never had any issues with it. I got my new mixer from a promotion catalogue for my 40 year anniversary at work. I've used it only 3 times and the spring that holds on the attachments doesn't work. Maybe it's an easy fix, but for a brand new machine, it's disappointing. It is a slightly more powerful mixer, which is nice.

I borrowed my friends mixer like this to do my Christmas cookies this year. Because every year my family has to have sugar cookie cut outs and I always have to do a triple batch. I practically have to stand on my head to mix every thing together so I wanted to try this mixer to see how it would do. OMG it was sooooo awesome it took half the time to do a triple batch and was the best mixing I have ever seen! I raved so much about it my family bought me a red one for Christmas.... I was so surprised and happy. I can't wait to use it all the time.

I received this at my bridal shower about a month and half ago. I liked to bake every now and then,but now I love it! The kitchen aid makes mixing batters so much easier especially with the splatter lid that allows you to slowly add in dry ingredients without making a huge mess. I'm really looking forward to trying out the dough hook and making my own pizza dough(grilled pizza so good in the summer!) I've also seen the slicer/peeler attachment which I might try to get after the wedding.

After 24 years, my mothers 5 qt mixer was still doing just fine, but she was so in love with the many many color choices that were now available, mine red, my brothers onyx black, my aunts tangerine, and hers was as she put it " white....BOOOOOORING" we upgraded her to a 7 quart and i took her old mixer down to the home brewery. there are not many machines you can say are so consistent in design, and dependability. well worth the cost any day.

My only complaint? I purchased the 5 qt and wish I had sprung for the larger bowl! It is everything they claim it is! So pleased with my new Kitchen Aid Mixer. Even my 11 year old can use it !
