I am so happy with my KitchenAid stand mixer! I bake frequently and have always done all of my mixing and stirring by hand or with a hand mixer. That had become increasingly difficult over time. This stand mixer is a great help for me. I haven't used the dough hook yet, but that will be useful for my next project. I am excited about all of the things I am going to bake and happy to have such a wonderful appliance in my kitchen.
Pros: easy to use, Convenient Features, Powerful, Performance, Design, Innovative
Cons: need to frequently stir ingedients with spatula.

I have wanted a KitchenAid mixer like my mom's for years.
Well, I finally got one and my first reaction is.... why did I wait so long?
This thing is great! Good power and by having the mixer and not the bowl moving, I don't have to stand there manually moving the bowl with thicker mixes. I got the silver colored model and it blends in nicely with the stainless steel stuff in the kitchen. Only thing I need now is a second bowl so I don't have to wash between batches.

I have owned standup mixers in the past but currently only own a hand KitchenAid mixer which is great but this made everything so much quicker and easier. Nice to have hands free to do other things. Beating egg whites... AMAZING!!! Love the new colors!
