Every year my wife makes huge amounts of various Christmas cookies for our Christmas day get together as well as for holiday gifts for our numerous friends and neighbors, and every year she tells me that she is going to have to cut back on the cookies because the dough is getting harder to mix. We have burned up hand mixers and even bought a good name brand blender that comes with a geared down dough bowl attachment which worked, but was too small for practical use with the large batches. I was running out of options as I didnt want to be the grinch that ruined Christmas because of a cookie shortage! We finally broke down and spent money on the mixer of all mixers, a Kitchen Aid Artisan. 325 Watts of pure power and a large 5 qt mixing bowl. My wife loves it. No more sore shoulders and now Christmas cookies will again be plentiful !!. Thank you Kitchen Aid
