This is my 3rd KitchenAid mixer. The first one my daughter dropped off the cart and it still worked for a while...got a new one that didn't have the tilt head and was large and heavy but I loved it. I sold it and my husband bought me the Artisan 5-Quart Tilt Head that is smaller than my previous and a little lighter. I love the black finish and the ease of use. I would recommend this particular model to anyone and everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to replace my very old stand-up mixer, because I needed a larger capacity bowl. This 5-qt KitchenAid is wonderful! I no longer have large quantity cookie batters flowing over the edges of the bowl! And I really love the pouring shield! No more flour dust clouds! The flat beater works beautifully -- I never feel the need to stop the mixer and use the spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl. Thank you, KitchenAid, for an amazing
product! Can't wait to check out some of the other attachments!
