This was a Christmas gift for my wife of 45 years. She has had another Kitchen Aid for over 20 years and it was time for a new one. Not that anything was wrong with the old one. She wanted a tilt head. She loves this one.

I bought the red Artisan stand mixer in June after coming back home from my honeymoon. I absolutely LOVE my mixer. The first thing I made was my English muffin recipe and the time it saved was ridiculous! Took at least an hour off! Can't say enough about this mixer and can't wait to try out my new food grinder attachment!

I now have 2 KitchenAid mixers. The old one fell about 4' and still worked. It tipped over again and the motor got out of alignment. I purchased a new but also had the old one fixed. The first one only has a 4.5 qt bowl. I really like the 5 qt bowl better because flour doesn't fly up the edges as much.
