Love it! Ordered my mixer online from a large retailer. Arrived out of the box in perfect condition. LOVE the ice color (which to me is almost minty but exactly what I was looking for). Gives a nice pop of color to my kitchen. Made creating my thanksgiving dishes a snap this year. Have wanted this mixer for years and finally received it as a wedding gift. Haven't used the dough hook yet so can't speak to that but for routine side dishes and cakes/pies, worked like a dream.

Wish the Flex Edge Beater was included

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my new mixer but wish the Flex Edge Beater was a standard attachment. I am used to scraping the bowl. I had to stop the mixer to scrape.

Not a good design at all... It does not scrap bottom and sides. Adding ingredients is impossible without stopping and lifting head; Otherwise there is mess everywhere. The bowl should be offset to the side.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's my first stand mixer...but it's a KitchenAid stand mixer. And it's been useful. It's big and heavy and I don't have the counter space to leave it out, so that's an inconvenience but not the mixers fault. So far it's been everything I've heard KitchenAid would be.
