I have wanted a stand mixer for the past 30 years and finally bought the Artisan model about a month ago. My only regret is having so long denied myself the pleasure of doing so many years ago. Both my daughter and myself are like kids in a candy shop, we are so pleased with the machine we can't stop talking about what to try next. We've used it on all our standard Christmas recipes and agree that the work time has been cut by at least half using the stand mixer. Sturdy, quiet, powerful AND stylish..,we just could not be happier. I did a lot of research on different manufacturers and models and believe the Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer is the best machine available in it's class.

I got this as a gift from My sister and mom ! With ice cream maker!!! Love it ! Making ice cream for kids all the time and baking cookies is a dream come true with this!!!!love my color grape as well !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer is a workhorse! I make a lot of cookies and it handles each and every dough with ease! I recently used it to mis up a very large meatloaf….no problem, it combined everything perfectly. It is used almost every day.

I purchased my kitchenaid as a long time christmas present to myself, that I had been saving and waiting patiently for the best price to buy. Finally during the holidays the store had a price that was too good to pass up, and though I wasn't quite at my goal. I splurged that little extra, and I am so happy that I did. the mixer works great, and I am now making homemade bread on a regular weekly basis. I also enjoyed how easily it made all my holiday cookie recipes, since each cookie recipe makes 5-6 1/2 dozen per batch. i look forward to when I can save up for some attachments.
