I received my first Kitchenaid stand mixer when I got married 28 years ago. I recently retired from work and received a generous gift card to a local kitchen store. I decided to splurge and purchase a new, colored mixer.. The only problem...which daughter to hand my old Kitchenaid to..they Both were begging for it!

The mixer replaced an old model and I love it. The fact that the blades don't just hit the center but rotate along the edge of the bowl is great, it mixes the entire batch.
