Got this from my kids for Christmas. I sure like the hands free and it has alot more power than my hand held mixer. I have 2 issues though, it's hard to add ingredients while it's moving and the paddle doesn't get the sides very well, found bunch of butter on the bottom when making cookies. I understand I have to buy a special paddle that can scrap the sides, you would think that should just come with the mixer.

After using hand mixer for 50 years, finally "took the plunge" and bought a new stand mixer -now, all I can say, "what the heck took me so long"!! Everything is easier, more consistent, and with unbelievable array of attachments -such as the flexible beater! Great stuff!

Makes mixing easier...was shocked how quick mixing went the first time I used it. I am handicapped and have been having trouble mixing things but this was wonderful Very heavy though so now looking for a rolling cart to roll it to where I am baking and then can roll it back for safety.

Just used it for the first time & I love it! I've always wanted one & just could never afford one, but decided it was time to splurge after all the years of cheap throw away models. It just does not compare to my last stand mixer, which was too lightweight to handle anything more than thin cake mix batter. This Kitchen Aid is a true workhorse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new mixer makes it super simple to bake. Great for people with arthritis or limited mobility. The only con is that it is so very noisy.
