I was impressed with the abiity of the machine to make great, well-formed cookies using only one bowl. Bread dough is also very easy to do and quick.
Features of the machine that are important and useful are the handle on the bowl, the guard that keeps the machine from throwing small pieces or flour over the top, and the dough hooks that knead evenly and smoothly. The bowl also cleans up easily.

I purchased this item, never having one before, because i was tired of using a handheld mixer. They never seem to have enough power to mix cookie dough( I make awesome chocolate chip cookies ). This KitchenAid Artisan Series mixer has not disappointed me. I have had it now for a week and have made three batches of Christmas cookies. I love it and can not wait to try other recipes.
