I received this as a Christmas gift. Although it is very nice, I have several small issues with my mixer. 1.) It is much louder than I expected it to be, 2.) The plastic "shield" that came with the mixer is ineffective as it does not prevent ingredients from splashing out and it does not firmly attach to the bowl.

I purchased this mixer about 5 year ago and LOVE it. At times, I bake 50 loaves of bread a day. Instead of washing the bowl for each batch, I thought I'd order another bowl. You can NOT get metal bowls for this mixer.
