Could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a gift and I was very excited to receive it. However the first time I used it, the locking mechanism for the arm didn't work. I found a YouTube video that showed me I needed to tighten a screw and that this is a common problem with the Artisian model. I haven't yet used it since tightening the screw so I don't know if it worked. I am disappointed as I expected better from this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Compact and powerful

Used it for making Christmas cookies and it performed as well as the old one. Can't say enough about the durability of our KitchenAid products!

Not made how they used to be

Bought this mixer off your website Feb 2023 now 2 years later when i plug it in it won't turn off. I can push the speed selector to the off position, but it wont stay. Just now making 1 single loaf of bread it vibrated itself off my counter and fell onto my tile floor chipping my tile. What if my cat or baby were right there!? Now whenever I plug it in it trips the circuit breaker. My mother had a KitchenAid for 10+ years and mine wont last 2. Fix this or you've lost me and future generations as customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
