I got this as a present for my birthday...and when the weekends roll around I cannot WAIT to make something so I can use it. I still have the learning curve of remembering to lock the head before starting it up.
I am hoping for the grinder attachment for Mother's Day !
It's powerful AND beautiful, and has pride of place on my new countertop station. The red is gorgeous! It's easy to use and there is the bonus of expandability. It's tough enough to make a double batch of bread dough!

i love the product what i was very upset that they did not honor the rebate, i bought it for the extra attachment that was suppose to come with it and my husband recycled the box before i was able to get the UPC off the box. I was able to call and get the UPC number but you would still not honor it. made me very sad.

This product is excellent. It is a very solid heavy duty and well put together peace of machinery. This mixer will last for years. It is is built out of quality materials and a solid design. It has a planetary gear set to drive the utensils; which is excellent because it is an extremely strong and robust way to drive the system. That same type of gearing is used in the automatic transmission in automobiles probably in the car you drive. It is powerful and simple to use. I have unused it often and it has no signs of slowing down any time soon. If you want an excellent peace of equipment that will last you for most of your life, and don't want to purchase multiple mixer over the next 20 to 30 years oor more and want a professional unit this product is for you. I highly recommend this product.

Because I use my mixer a lot, I replaced my old Ultra classic Kitchenaid with one from the Artisan Series. It's so much easier to make things with whatever Kitchenaid mixer I have. They are well built and the support is great.
