This mixer is an indispensable kitchen tool. I use it very often, for all sorts of food... even to mash potatoes! Love the pasta attachment, fresh pasta is a very especial treat for my family. It does what I want, very easy to use. Just leave it on the counter, and it will be ready for use. I have found I am not using my hand mixer at all. I have ordered another bowl. But currently scape it into another bowl. In my kitchen I have several things going at once.I have wanted a kitchen aide for over 20 yrs. This works for my needs of cake decorating and baking at home.
Pros: Design, Convenient Features, Performance, Innovative, easy to use
Cons: a little more height between top of bowl and mixer
