I bought this on Black Friday and have been so thrilled with it! I am a baker in my free time and was just expecting to use it with different doughs and batters. But I am finding more and more recipes to use it with!!! Many of my regular, everyday recipes that I would mix by hand are now a snap to mix up with my Kitchenaid mixer! The Artisan handles it all with ease! 2 lbs of meat are no problem with the dough hook. Mixing shredded potatoes and shredded cheese together is no longer a battle either. I'm so glad I spent the money on this!!

It is very well made, very attractive (we bought a red model), and cleans up.so easily. We plan on buying some of the attachments/accessories later down the road as we get used to doing more with our mixer.

For years I had dreamed of owning this mixer. Then my dream came true when my mother in law gave it to me as a early christmas gift. What a wonderful gift it has been. I have used it almost daily, between making bread, cakes, and cookies. I am eager to get the other attachments so I can try my hand at fresh pasta and all the other possibilities that can be done. I truly enjoy this kitchen aid mixer, and it even looks great setting out on my counter
