I've wanted to upgrade to the artisan (and color) for soooo long. My ONLY problem is "how do you let go of the old one" that I've used and used and used for over 30 years? It's like an old friend! And it still works like a champ!

My boyfriend bought this for me as a nice surprise. I can't begin to express how happy I am with this mixer. It's easy to use and cleans up quite well. It is kind of heavy so it took a few times to move it about and find a good spot for it where it wouldn't need to be moved again.

I gave this to my mother as a gift. She just used it for the first time. She said she likes it but it did not moisten all of the cake mix. There was mix that did not get blended with the rest of it. It is built solid and she seemed happy with it. It will take time to use it as she just got rid of her Sunbeam mixer of 50 years it finally died.
