I finally was able to purchase a KitchenAid Artisan tilt-head stand mixer. Fortunately, at the same time I purchased a flat head beater with the rubber edge and that does work really well. The flat beater that came with the mixer doesn't fit on the machine.....the other attachments work fine and there is no problem "hooking" them on the mixer "stem". This flat head beater,for some reason, will not insert fully like the others and stay attached while mixing. I can't undertand why since it "looks" the same at the opening and slot as the other attachments. A mystery that hopefully KitchenAid staff can answer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple of weeks ago, and it has been a very good mixer!!! I also bought the meat grinder attachment which is real good, makes a much better tasting burger !!!!!
