I do not know I ever got along without one. It is a dream. Love all of the color choices. Very easy clean up. I am looking to adding some attachments later on. Love the handle on the metal bowl, makes it so easy to empty contents. Looking forward to making some bread too. Love the splatter guard. A must for your kitchen.

My daughter has a Kitchen Aid stand mixer that was her mother-in-laws and she uses it all the time. So I decided I would get me one. I don't cook much anymore but I do make jam and jellies and applesauce and applebutter so I know it will be well used.

Love my mixer! This product does everything just as advertised, and with less mess than other products. Powerful mixer on a stand, allows your hands to be free and not "dripping" while adding ingredients. Less noise because blades don't touch side of bowl. Powerful enough for breads and pasta dough. I added the pasta/spaghetti attachment and found it to be equally well-made and performs just as promised: turning out homemade noodles, pasta, and spaghetti with little effort or mess! Cleanup of mixer and attachments is so easy!

This makes bread making so easy - especially or a novice like me. What I really enjoy about it is that it allows you to do other things while mixing or kneading. You can clean up the kitchen or mix up something else while you don't have to be holding the machine!!

Cheap flimsy attachment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd stand mixer and have to say it’s not like my older model.
I am hoping it’s just a fluke but I feel the quality is slightly inferior in regards to one of the accessories..The piece that sits lightly attached to the rim of the mixing bowl with the spout enabling you to add ingredients is a cheap flimsy plastic and does not remain secure. It doesn’t fit and when I do get it on it pops off. The one for my older model is much more rigid and secure.
Am hoping I will be contacted for a possible replacement as these really are great mixers.
