So fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much "do I really need this?" for months, I finally bought a stand mixer & love it! I love to bake & I grin ear to ear as my mixer makes short work with lots of mixing I used to do by hand.

I've always used a hand wisk for cakes, cookies and pies. It was hard work and the result were often mixed. I had wanted a KitchenAid mixer for years. This year I treated myself. But what to make for the first tryout? I decided on lemon bar cookies. The shortbread would allow the flat beater to be used and the egg-lemon filler, the wisk. It was so easy and fast. The shortbread was done in a flash. The eggs, lemon and sugar whipped beautifully. The bars were a great success. Now I can follow recipes to the letter and enjoy great, predictable results and have fun doing it.

For the Artisan tilt head stand mixer, there is a three quart bowl available. The part number is KB3SS and the price is $39.99. There is no handle on the three quart bowl. The bowl can be purchased over the phone through KitchenAid at 1-800-541-6390.
