Made the big mistake of putting off this purchase until now. The stand mixer simply makes so many recipes so much more "doable" in fact, last weekend I made Rum Raisen Ice cream ( my sons bought me the attachment for Mother's Day). Not in a million years would that have been on my radar.
My only disappointment is that the smaller model is coming out- I think I would have preferred that, but it's not a big deal

I never thought I needed this until recently. I have been using an old hand mixer because my ancient stand mixer was difficult to move around. My new mixer has a permanent place in my kitchen and I use it all the time. It does the work for you and it is easy to clean.

Received this for Christmas. Really like it. nicely made, but the one thing that I miss is my last mixer had a glass bowl and I could see thru to the bottom, thus knowing if things were mixed thoroughly or where i needed to scrape.
