I got the Artisan series for my birthday. I've used it once up to this point and it worked perfectly. I intent to make French bread soon and will put it thru the test. I expect it to work wonderfully.

I am completely satisfied with my appliance. A friend gave me a gift of the blade with the scraper attached and that is what I use mainly for my everyday baking. The whisk is great for egg whites and the dough hook as I mentioned above is a real pain saver when I make bread. Over all I am glad I purchased this machine for myself.
Pros: Innovative, Convenient Features, sturdy, easy to use, Design, Performance
Cons: quite heavy and i must leave on my counter.

I finally broke down and bought this mixer after having tried several inexpensive models that simply were not up to the task. This mixer is without a doubt the most heavy duty of its kind. I chose this, a smaller one since there are only two of us at home. Have used it several times now and love the way it works without shaking and sounding like its going to explode.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it after many years of wanting to get one but I never found the need .
I got a new Pizza oven and I needed a mixer to knead the dough and this was the only choice , now that I have it I bought more attachments and I get to use it quite a lot !! I still trying to find and I don't there is maybe Kitchen Aid can make one : Julienne attachment ?
