This is my second kitchen aid. I had my last one for 35 years, I really didn't have to give it up because it still worked as good as the day I bought it. But with the beautiful colors, I wanted to upgrade. So glad I did. Thank you.

I was very excited to finally have a stand mixer! However, the third time I used it the locking mechanism had become loose. The beater than knocked the bowl around, so it could no longer be locked in place. I guess this is a common problem, with an easy fix, but you really have to look out for it. Kitchenaid was really great in sending me a replacement, and I am very hopeful this new one turns out better! My ratings could improve if this new one ends up working out better.

I absolutely love my Kitchen Aid 5-Quart Mixer. It has made baking so easy for me, I no longer need to hand mix anything!!! I always dreaded making bread or cookies, because it was difficult to hand mix - but now I just put in my ingredients and all the work is done for me!
