This is my fourth Kitchenaid...all were tilt head and still in use by friends, The stand mixer was from my husband since you could have the bowl engraved. I hated it...It was rattely, and never scraped the bottom of the bowl. It finally quit running in the midst of making Kitchenaid frosting. Yeah...got rid of it and back to tilt head. I will say, it is not at sturdy as those my mother had, and my first two...beaters seem lightweight

I am really enjoying my Kitchenaid stand mixer! I frequently bake many recipes requiring a meringue (I.e. French Macarons, meringue cookies) so the reliable power had been excellent. We also have the meat grinding attachment that has made our competition Chili and burgers a success. My only criticism would be that they don't make them the way they used to. There is just a slight wobble at times from the plastic pieces whereas our grandfather's one from decades ago is still in AMAZING sturdy functioning order. Kitchenaid still had the best stand mixer on the market.

What more can be said, it's a Kitchen aid mixer. I recently got into making breads and this mixer can handle it. It is built to last and you get what you pay for. Thought briefly about another brand, but the reviews were average to poor. Although I haven't purchased any add-ons yet, the ability to expand the capabilities of this mixer is awesome!

I have burned through several hand mixers over the years and this thing is a beast! It not only save me time and energy, but the best part is the easy clean-up!!! Well worth the money!
