I have been wanting one for many years. Just hadn't had the means to do so. But Santa (my husband) surprised me for Christmas. I am so excited to use it. I can not wait to make bread and pizza dough in it. I love the design and the size. I like that I can add attachments such as the pasta maker which is on my list to do also. It is a welcome addition to the kitchen and will make my cooking life simpler.

My husband has an extreme fondness for shiny objects, so when we walked by the Kitchenaid that has inhabited his culinary fantasies since he was a little gay boy working at Disneyland in the 1990s, well, we had to buy it. I was told it would be super useful for Thanksgiving, because if does so many things. Of course, we haven't had a Thanksgiving dinner at our house for years, but it's going to work out great the year we open up the mixer and finally use it, which I presume will be in 2019.

I bought this as a gift for myself and I absolutely love it. It's really easy on my hands where I have carpal tunnel syndrome and it makes baking a lot easier. The attachments can be replaced easily.
