Love my KitchenAid!

I had my previous KitchenAid for about fifteen years and absolutely loved it. I made everything from whipped cream to bread dough in it. Over the years, it started looking a little the worse for wear, but was still functional. My husband and children decided I needed a new one and gave me a new engine red one. I love the color, and love that it is a slight upgrade from my last one, and has a bowl with a handle- the one thing I always wished my old one had. Love the black cord, too. My old white one looked dirty too fast. Very happy overall with this mixer. I gave my old one to my sister and it is still going!

Why did I wait so long to purchase a kitchen aid mixer?

I retired 2 years ago and finally decided to purchase a kitchen aid mixer. All the years of using a hand mixer! I never realized the benefits of using a kitchen aid. Cakes, pie dough, cookies, and all sorts of baked goods turn out so much better.
My daughter, grandaughters, and I used the mixer for the first time this Christmas to make multiple cookie recipes for a holiday brunch my daughter sponsors for the education staff in her elementary school. We saved so much time! The cookies were delicious!
Now I know what I was missing all those years!

I bought the Artisan mixer a few weeks back and I can't seem to stop using it. Love the grinder attachment as I am a hunter and love to make my own sausage/hamburger. And I'm pretty sure I've put on a few extra lbs with all of the baking capabilities. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a new mixer.
