Good for cookies, BAD for pasta

This machine mixes low flour recipes very well. And I'm quite happy with it for most desserts. However, if you want to use something with a lot of flour (pasta recipes or some heavy cookies) the dough hook and batter causes the bowl to jump out of the stand mixer on speeds 4 or 6 (and anything lower is too low). (Surprised the stuffing out of me the first time, and then became predictable enough all the remaining times after.)
My dough was not sticky, I was just using the dough hook to knead it as you are supposed to be able to do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
