My husband bought this mixer for my Christmas gift. The new mixer in red replaced my white mixer which I have given to my daughter (the mixer still works great ~ have had for about 18 years). These mixers are the best and truly

I don't really like the mixer. I have to constantly stop mixing to scrape the sides, and even with the additional paddle with sides made for scraping, I still need to do that. Additionally, I don't seem to be able to get heavy whipping cream as stiff as I could by hand.
I've only had it for a little over a month and have made several cheesecakes and mousse toppings, and one batch of cookies. Maybe it's just something I need to get used to, but I think I preferred the control you get with a hand mixer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only problem I have is that I don't have the time to use it as often as I would like to. Once I can afford the Pasta Maker and purchase other attachments, I expect to use it to more often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this for me as a gift. I have never been a great baker but this mixer is very easy to use. So far we have made Bread, Pizza dough, Cookies, a Cake, and shredded chicken. All of the attachments are great quality and clean up is great.
