I wanted this mixer forever, I seen it for the first time when I was about 16 years old. Have wanted one ever since. I am 72 now and decided this is one of those things I wanted and before I die I will own one so I am Now a proud owner of my Kitchen Aid mixer, I couldn't afford all the attachments as I live on social security. Maybe a bit longer and I might own the attachments for my mixer. thank you It is everything I thought it was.

I've always got a million things going on at once, and shortcuts to making outstanding food is required. For years, I dreamed of owning my own KitchenAid mixer, and told myself when we bought our "new" house 8 years ago that when we renovated our kitchen, I would get one. Well, it took much more time and money to renovate the kitchen, but we finally did it last year! And, the first thing I asked for at Christmas, an empire red KitchenAid mixer. Ever since, baking has become so much more fun, and much easier than ever before--especially as I'm usually under the "baking when I really don't have the extra time to do it but need to because something must be baked by tomorrow" deadline. I definitely recommend this to any working, busy Mom who tries to do it all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kitchenaid mixer was purchased to replace another Kitchenaid mixer that had lasted 40 years. All of the old attachments fit the new mixer. This mixer is well worth the purchase price.

At first I thought that I wouldn't need an expensive mixed because I really don't cook that many things that would require it. Now that I have it, there's so many new things I try, and stuff I use it for that I never thought about before! And I love that I can mix things while I'm doing other stuff, where as a hand mixer, I'm tied up while mixing. I don't think I'll ever be able to not have one again!
