I have arthritis in my hands and now with my KitchenAid I don't have to have my husband knead bread or mix heavy cookie dough. So much easier and less painful since it does all the heavy mixing for me.
Pros: Innovative, Performance, Design, Convenient Features, easy to use
My wife has always wanted a kitchen aid stand mixer and for the price I couldn't refuse and she loves it. Happy wife happy husband.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dear Oregon girl, Throughout our 111-year history, Whirlpool Corporation has been committed to providing safe products for our consumers.
The company’s aluminum alloy stand mixer accessories, including beaters, dough hooks and whisks, are tested through a third party, independent laboratory to ensure they comply with all applicable regulations in the locations where they are sold regarding lead content. They are safe for any family’s cooking needs.
In addition, all current models of aluminum stand mixer accessories have a food-safe coating over the aluminum that is tested both for lead content and lead migration to ensure that it is safe for all consumers.

I have only used it twice but it is so smooth and quiet......the only fault I can find is the beater does not have an eject button which I was used to on my previous mixer.
I was hoping for one for Xmas, but decided that I would treat myself. I've wanted one of these for a long time but just kept waiting for the right time. Decided that retirement was a great time to get one when I would have some time to use it. And so far I've used it to create bread, cakes, quick breads and cookies. Having lots of fun with it and finding that it's encouraged me to cook more frequently...
I've been living with a mixer that shares a base with a food processer, blender, and meat grinder. Finally on it's last legs, from the sound of the motor I was overtaxing, I broke down and bought the Kitchen Aid mixer I've always heard about but was reluctant to spend that much money for. What a joy! Mixing is fast and effortless. It scrapes the sides and bottom of the bowl that my old mixer never did a good job on. Since I've gotten into cake decorating I really needed a dependable mixer and this one fills the bill. My ONLY complaint is moving it. It is heavy (which is a good thing as this proves it is built well) but I have to try to lift it or "slide" it forward on my counter to use it. If you could make a model that has retractable wheels for those times it needs to be moved then it would be absolutely perfect in all respects! It's a great machine. The color choices add some "fun" to the appliance. Keep up the good work!
Pros: easy to use, Convenient Features, Performance, Innovative, love the range of colors., Design
After 30+ years of Christmas cookie baking, my new mixer brought the joy back to baking. Hands free mixing allowed me to add ingredients without having to stop repeatedly, making the process much easier. Hurray for the perfect Christmas present!
