My KitchenAid Artisan 5 qt. stand mixer came as an early Christmas present. I love it!!!. I have never had a stand mixer; only one that was hand-held. I will be 64 in Feb. so I think it was about time. I am so glad it came early because it is working great on preparing all those Christmas goodies.

My wife and I love the ease of this product. It is amazing the difference in the end result when we use this product versus what we use to use. We have found that it encourages us to try more recipes that we thought were hard but is easy using the kitchen aide. Our only regret is that it took us too long to buy one!

I bought this after much thought and research. Had wanted a stand mixer for such a long time and so glad that I finally bought the KitchenAid stand mixer. I am very happy with all the features and it does exactly what it says it does. I had read some reviews about it not being great for kneading bread but it managed my 5 cup flour rye bread recipe super well. I love everything about it, and I only wish I had the courage to choose one of the colors as I took the safe route and got the contour silver. But the color does not affect its wonderful functionality. The only down side is that I didn't quite realize how heavy it is. So I keep it out on my counter ready to use.
