I am not a chef by trade, but it is my favorite hobby. I received a lesser quality mixer as a wedding present 20 years ago and have made good use of it, but nothing like my Kitchenaid. It's heavy duty and doesn't walk off the counter when you turn it on high. I also purchased the pasta roller attachment and am amazed by the ease of making fresh pasta. Love, love, love this product!! I'm a Kitchenaid believer now and can't wait to trade out my old appliances with this brand!!

Always dreamed of this KitchenAid mixer, finally found at the right price and in Empire red, this does all it said it could do & more. Now my love ones know exactly what to get me for Christmas, the different attachments. Happy, i've made bundt cakes during the work week, image baking during the week! so easy to use. My husband will just get fatter & fatter.

I am new to the whole cooking and baking scene and my new kitchenaid mixer has made it so much easier and less overwhelming. It is reliable, quiet and hands free for the most part and trust it will whip up anything I need in no time at all. My only issue is that it is fairly heavy.
