With the multiple attachments, It's several machines in one.

It mixed a thick double batch of fruitcake batter without becoming strained and bogging down. And meringue .......... I didn't even try to make it anymore, because it took so long, but in less than a couple of minutes, I had a bowl of stiff white peaks. My husband liked the food grinder. After removing the silver skin (it couldn't cut that), he ground 20 lbs of cubed pork to make his own sausage. We are thinking about buying more of the attachments soon.
Pros: Performance, Design, easy to use
Cons: i wish the motor speed knob was on the other side

This is my second kitchen aid mixer and I love it. The day I broke mine I ordered this new one. It came quickly and works beautifully. My old one was close to 30 years old and I just wore it out. The new one is great.

It is so great how it frees up your hands and allows you to add other ingredients or work in other things while it mixes. I used a handheld mixer that I received for a wedding gift almost 40 years ago! I think I deserved this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 60 years ago I helped my Grandmother cook with her kitchen aid mixer. My favorite was helping make the mashed potatoes and taste testing. My new mixer brings me back to those very happy days. Kitchen aid is the only mixer anyone should ever use. It is far superior in mixing everything from butter to cake mixes to dough. I thank you for letting me have such great memories.
