For years I had another brand of stand mixer and thought it was adequate. I never knew what I was missing until I received my KitchenAid stand mixer! I use the mixer to combine recipes I never thought about before. For example: meatloaf. Just put in all the ingredients and presto! In a few seconds the ingredients are mixed and ready to place in a casserole dish. The mixer is so easy to use and it mixes so much faster and better than my old mixer. I will never ever again be without a KitchenAid mixer. It makes my world a whole lot easier!

I had a lift bowl design for years and wanted to upgrade the capacity and design. The tilt head design is fantastic and it is powerful enough to mix the toughest doughs you can throw at it, even gluten free! Plus how can you go wrong with 5qt capacity, it's a no-brainier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used it enough to rate it yet; however, I do not like the fact that I cannot move the bowl as I did on my old mixer to make it easier to scrape the sides; this bowl locks in place. I cannot scrape the sides unless I remove it from its stand. Other than that I think I'm going to like it.
