I purchase the Artisian model Kitchenaide mixer recently to replace an older model, I have had for 20 years. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my first purchase... it ran like a charm... I just wanted a newer color with a bigger bowl. (my daughter now uses the older model) I certainly made a great choice! Larger bowl, heavier motor and it is much more quiet!!! I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to anyone who does a lot of baking. P.S. It handles bread dough wonderfully!
My Mom gave me my first stand mixer 41 yrs, ago. It is still going strong but now I will be passing it on to my daughter Jennifer, and I imagine it will go on to my 14 yr. old granddaughter Megan when she becomes a mom. I have purchase a new stand mixer to match our kitchen. At 70 I still make tons of Christmas cookies for 10 grandchildren, and I know my KitchenAid will handle everything I ask of it. Janet Fox
Pros: Performance, Innovative, easy to use, Design, Convenient Features
This is the best mixer I have ever owned. I love to made homemade breads and rolls but arthritis in my hands made it impossible to knead the dough. I bought another cheaper brand mixer and after using it to knead the dough a few times it overheated and burned out the plastic gears. With the KitchenAid mixer it kneads the dough without any problems whatsoever. I spent the extra money and bought the Artisan mixer and I am glad I did. I highly recommend this mixer and wish I had bought it years ago.
I had been wanting to get a new mixer for some time. My wife surprised me with a Kitchen-Aide Artisan mixer. Powers through cookie dough and bread dough with no problems.

I bought the Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer for my granddaughters for Christmas - 13 & 16 yrs. old. They have used mine and really wanted their own - only in Aqua! They will be so excited when they see it and I know they'll use it immediately to make cookies!

I already have one Kitchen Aid Mixer but it is not a tilt head and does not fit under my cabinet. I will use my first one for grinding meats, etc. since I can leave it sit where I store it. My new purchase has the tilt head, splash guard and the same features as my first one. I really like being able to keep it out on my counter. I have looked at covers for it but I really like seeing the "look" of this mixer. I selected the white model and the shiny stainless steel bowl looks sharp. I did not know how much I had missed not having a tilt head.

This is my second Kitchenaid stand mixer. My first mixer is over 20 years old and still growing strong, but I wanted a new color for my kitchen. I gave my white mixer to my daughter, who loves it and got a new red one for myself! Thank you Kitchenaid for making such a high quality product. I highly recommend this mixer to anyone who needs a good mixer. This product makes baking a pleasure! If I could I would give this 10 stars!
