This was an early Christmas present. I also received the spiral, peeler attachment. My mother was an excellent baker who made everything from scratch so I always left the baking to her. I just had a kitchen remodel and was inspired to bake so I asked for the Kitchenaid. My mother would be proud of me. I made a pound cake I still can't believe I made. Using the peeler, slicer attachment I made an apple pie with uniform apple slices which I think made the pie taste better. I would probably spend all day using my Kitchenaid if I had enough people to eat all the goodies. Best gift ever!

I have wanted a kitchen aide for quite some time now. My mother in law wanted to buy me one for Christmas and I happily agreed. She asked me to select a color online so she could order it. I selected cranberry because that is a predominant color in my kitchen and I love that color. However when it arrived it looked hot pink. I checked the invoice and the box because I was positive the wrong color had shipped but they both said cranberry. That is a horrible name for that color- it doesn't match anything in my kitchen. I have never seen a pink cranberry! Seriously consider changing the name because it is not cranberry colored. I selected it so Im stuck with it. Tragic.
