Very happy with this mixer! The only thing I suggest is even after you wash this before you first use it, there is so much manufacturing grease in the bowl that you should be prepared to waste your first batch of dough as it will turn gray from the grease. So you should wash, mix a batch - throw that away then re-wash. I used an SOS pad both times then it was good to go. I absolutely love my mixer!!

I bought this mixer for use in my Christmas Tree Farm, We use it to mix the batter for our home-made donuts. It gets plenty of hard use in Nov through Dec. It is used all day from 7am to 5pm. As usual it works great. There are no power slow downs as the batter is mixed and throughout the mixing process. Everyone should own a mixer like this. I have a 40 year old Kitchenaid Mixer and it still runs great, I use it in my home.

Love this mixer, used it tons over the holidays. My only complaint has to due with the splash shield/guard. I was very disappointed with it. It mearly rests on top of the mixing bowl. When adding ingredients, if I bump it or touch it in any way it goes flipping off. I contacted kitchenaid about it and apparently that's the way it is supposed to be. I would be much happier with it if it would snap onto the bowl, and be a little more secure.
