this is my second kitchen aid mixer. it is a little more powerful and has a larger bowl than my first one. it is great. works well whether beating egg whites or mixing heavy cookie batter. a great mixer.

I am very satisfied with this purchase although I don't usually spend this much money on myself.

Best present I have every received! My mom got it for me as a housewarming present, and I couldn't be happier. The KitchenAid Stand Mixer is such a blessing in my household. Its perfect for baking, and mashed potatoes and even sauces and soups. I love cooking and baking and this is just a godsend. It takes away so much of the hard work and I sure reap the results! I would recommend that every household has one!

Since purchasing I have used this KitcheAid for:
1) mixing burger meat: GREAT for this! keeps your hands clean, avoids compacting meat leading to delicious juicy bugers
2) scones: so fast!
3) coffee cake: makes creaming butter & sugar a breze!
4) bread dough: NOT IDEAL for this. After just one loaf it messed up the alignment of the height of the mixer head (easy to fix but would get annoying to do after each time kneading)
