[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had always heard so much about the Kitchenaid mixer that when I got one for Christmas I was ecstatic. I made bread for the first time ever using the hook and it worked great. The machine forever seemed...loose. I mean it rattled more than of thought it should. Maybe I was expecting to much, but when I watch all the how-to videos the machines they use seems a lot quieter.

I've wanted to get one for quite awhile. With the holidays coming soon, I decided the time was right. I make cookies every week, and now it's much easier than with a hand mixer. I'm going to make bread this week, and I'm sure it will be much easier thanks to the hook.

This is my second Kitchen Aid stand Mixer. My first was originally my mom's and came to me when she passed many years ago. She purchased hers in the 1976. It performed beautifully as we learned about make whole wheat bread and other baking goods. It has survived from those years to my family of four boys. It is now in 2016 a little tired, so I decided I wanted a new Kitchen Aid. A little bigger and much prettier. I am using it and it is performing beautifully. I am looking forward to purchasing some of the accessories to make it even more useful.
My mother's Kitchen Aid is waiting for me to get it tuned up and repainted for one of my daughters-in-law.
