This is my second Artisan mixer by KitchenAid- my other one was about 16 years old and was starting to leak oil. I could have gotten it fixed, but I was ready for a new color. I look forward to using this one for another 16 years! The only thing I wish was different was the plastic splatter shield. The shield on my old mixer fit better and did not slip off at this one does.
