I received this Kitchen Aid Mixer for a college graduation present and couldn't be more pleased. I currently only have the standard attachments but love them all (mixing blade, dough hook & whisk). The mixer has made it possible for me to quickly make a batch of cookie dough with less mess than I had previously. And it looks stately on my kitchen counter. I highly recommend one of these mixers as a gift for any marriage or graduation.
Pros: Convenient Features, Performance, easy to use
Enjoyed using this machine. It was purchased to replace a failed product from another company. This machine has less horsepower but was quieter when running and I can find additional pieces.
Pros: Performance
Cons: less horsepower
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this right before Christmas to make my baking go faster. Boy if I knew how much more it would have made it easier I would have bought one years ago.
I love this stand mixer. I've used it many times and I love the color
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my mixer! Looking forward to buying more parts and learning how to make more homemade foods!
My husband bought this for me as a gift for my birthday. I run a small bakery out of my home. All of my delicious treats are made by hand, as in I either use a whisk to mix batters or a hand mixer. He purchased this to make things easier. It's every homemaker's dream to own one of these beautiful machines, and I was so thrilled.
The color is divine. Mine is in Green Apple. It's a perfect shade of green; not bright enough to be obnoxious yet not dark enough to be dull. It's beautiful. My picture does it no justice.
The machine operates surprisingly quiet even with it being a full-sized machine. I have recently acquired my first attachment so I'm hoping that the low level of noise remains when I go to use it.
The machine was smartly made, but there are a few areas where I'm still trying to figure it out. For starters, if this is your first Kitchenaid appliance then reading the manual is probably a good idea. I skimmed through it initially to get a general idea of how to operate it. Within the pages it tells you that you have to adjust the height of the mixer so that "it just barely misses touching the bottom." This is my first area of unease. I make a lot of different batters. I've previously stated that I'm accustomed to hand mixing. This also means that I'm use to being able to ensure all the ingredients are well incorporated. This stand mixer -even though I've adjusted the height levels multiple times- still has a problem with mixing in all the ingredients. The manual says to "scrape down the sides," and I do. My problem is with the ingredients at the bottom of the bowl. When you go to pour out your batter, you shouldn't see unincorporated flour left behind. But alas, millions of people have successfully used these mixers for generations. This is why I previously stated I have a few areas left to figure out. I simply wish it was easier to do.
Overall, with a few modifications on my part, this mixer is divine. I would highly recommend this product to everyone.
