This mixer makes baking so much easier and I am glad I purchased it but there are a couple of things I would change if I could. The mixing bowl is too small. There is not enough clearance for adding ingredients while mixing. I end up with flour or sugar all over the cupboard. Even with the clear plastic guard on top, they have not allowed for easy ingredient adding. I also don't like the bump in the bottom of the mixing bowl. It is hard to get all the ingredients mixed in from the bottom. They need to make the mixer just a little taller to make it easier to add ingredients.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Convenient Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She had mentioned that she'd like one on several occasions. I never bought one because I didn't think we'd use it very often. Boy was I wrong. We've used this several times a week since Christmas. From baking that my wife and son do to the main meals that I do, this mixer has made our lives easier. We've made everything from cookies to meatloaf. Bread and pizza dough are a breeze, even mashed potatoes come out so much smoother!
I'm so very glad I finally purchased this mixer! If anyone out there is on the fence, I say jump down and buy one, you'll find so many things to do that you never considered a mixer could do.
For all of the reviews that say it doesn't scrape everything off the bottom, make sure you read the instructions. There is an extremely easy fix for that, one small adjustment and you are good to go.

My wife loves the stand mixer, she used it just the other day to make choc. Chip cookies and was amazed at how quiet it was and the smooth operation of the machine and would highly recommend this product to everyone. We also can't wait to buy the grinder attachment so when it comes time to make mincemeat in the fall we will be able to do this in record time using the machine compared to the hand grinder we use now. Thank you for making such a fine machine like the stand mixer.

My present to myself! This mixer saves so much time. My grand children love to add ingredients to the mixer. Why did I wait so long to buy one? Better late than never! Clean up is a breeze! The first time using the mixer, I put in the flour and was going to add the butter, 1/4 stick at a time. However, when I turned it on, I mistakenly turned it on medium speed and flour sprayed upward! The grandkids laughed and laughed as I had flour everywhere, including my apron top! Wish we had the video camera on! Oops, won't make that mistake again.
