got as a gift about a month ago and so far I love it ! only disappointment is that I would like to eventually get the glass mixing bowl for it but according to the many reviews I have read about that bowl and its random ease at breaking, I will wait and hope that KitchenAid can come out with a better glass bowl.

Great for kneading dough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this mixer 2 months back and find it now indispensable for kneading dough. It makes it so much easier as it does almost all the work, and then I just finish up the kneading by hand for a couple of minutes. Love it and looking forward to trying it out on some cakes as well!

The kitchen aid has a strong motor for dough as well as various attachments and speeds that are useful in desert making. One of the best, most useful purchases I’ve made.

Have wanted this equipment for many years and finally made the purchase. I have used friend's mixer and felt right at home when mine was delivered. From simple cookies to more complicated artisan breads, this unit not only cuts my time in half, it saves a sore shoulder the next day. I will be purchasing several of the add-on pieces in the near future and then I'll be to make more exotic feasts for family and friends. BTW, I am 69 years old and partially disabled.....this is truly a godsend!
