I received my new mixer as a gift from the man in my life. I have the spiralizer and pasta attachments. So far I love this mixer. I was hesitant because of the price of the mixer and the price of the attachments. I am the sort of person who never buys anything more than I truly need for the job. (read: cheap hand blender bought at local discount store). Honestly, if you are considering this purchase DO IT. I can't wait to add more attachments.

I have been dreaming about owning one of these for years. Finally, my husband surprised me for Christmas! As I removed the pieces out of the box, I noticed a chip on the front of the mixer. The mixer only really has 6 speeds: the numbers on the side are 0, stir, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. This is really 0-6: stir, 2 and 4 are slow, 6 is medium/fast and 8 and 10 are the same as 6 (no speed change)! The whisker tool is made of a very CHEAP who-knows-what material and before using the product appeared to have been years old with the "metal coating" already coming off and looks of rust or wear! If you use any speed higher than 4 the mixer shakes and makes a lot of noise. On a positive note, it does mix. I would not recommend this product or purchase one again.
