This has been one of those purchases where I think, "how did I live without it??" I love this mixer, I could actually use two of them! The color is so pretty in my kitchen. I'm very happy with the ease of cleanup and the bowl having a handle. Overall I am extremely happy with my mixer.

I picked this as my Christmas present after using my brother in-law's over Thanksgiving. Worth every penny! I love that the bowl locks in and that the beating attachments move in an irregular pattern to mix or knead the ingredients. The machine is pretty and classically sleek for easy clean up.

I finally got a kitchen Aid from my husband as a Christmas gift. It was easy to use and easy to clean. I loved being able to prep other items while the kitchenaid mixed my dough. Can't wait to get other attachments and play with them in the kitchen with my daugters!

KitchenAid has a wonderful reputation for quality. Nearly 20 years ago I bought a used Kitchenaid and it served me very well. I finally gave it to my daughter and she is still using it. I decided to get myself a new one and when I saw that it came in lavender, I was delighted. There are so many pretty colors to choose from, but lavender is my favorite.
The only problem was that it didn't sound quite right. When I called KitchenAid, they were wonderful. In the first place, the rep I spoke with was in the USA so I could understand her and she could understand me. Refreshing, to say the least. She was so nice and took care of the problem right away. A new mixer, in my favorite lavender color, was delivered to my door. I didn't have to be without my mixer for even a minute. I just packed the other one back into the box and sent it back. So easy and convenient. My lovely new mixer sounds fine and I look forward to using it for many years to come.

I've waited more than a year to get a KitchenAid in general and specifically an Artisan. I wanted the larger mixing bowl and the higher watt motor. It replaces a Sunbeam Heritage stand mixer. The Sunbeam is an okay entry mixer but its rotating bowl is a design fail. The bowl in KA locks into place and the beater rotates instead.
I made my first bread loaf (a.k.a Gros Pain) last night. I usually have to mix the dough for 4-7 minutes but with the KA it was ready in no more than 4 minutes and compared with the old Sunbeam was whisper quiet.
I'm ready to go to town with other baking!

I bought this for myself as my Christmas present. I have always wanted one and finally did it! I have bought and used some of the attachments and can't figure out how I lived without them! The best thing I ever splurged on!
