I've been waiting to buy this for a while. My original concern was that, because I live in a small NYC apartment, I would not have space for the mixer. Finally my partner and I caved and we bought it. Turns out it doesn't take up too much room! We cook and bake often, so end up using the mixer several times per week. It has made bread making a lot simpler because of the dough hook. Though I'm still trying to figure out how to best use that feature. Definitely worth the money (and space!).

I love my KitchenAid mixer. It's powerful enough to handle my frequent baking, and it even has no problem mixing thick brownie batters. So far the only con has been that the little round silver piece that says KitchenAid, which I assume is removed to accommodate different attachments, fell off and into my cupcake batter once. I wasn't happy about that at all! Also, this thing is heavy and durable, so last night as I was sliding it back onto my counter, it bumped my outlet cover and broke it into several pieces. So just be careful when moving it about. Otherwise, the mixer performs wonderfully.

i bought this as an upgrade to the basic Kitchenaid mixer that I purchased a number of years ago. I love the tilt head and the way the bowl attaches. The RED color doesn't hurt, either! It's so easy to use and much easier to clean than the lift style I previously used. So pleased that I got it!
